April - King Purachatr, very fine Seal point Siamese, owned Miss. Louise Frith of New York City, died recently. The Purachatr Cattery is located in Mt Desert, Maine. The news of King's sudden death came as a great shock to his owner as he was an especially rugged cat and from recent reports was supposed to be in the best of health. His passing is a great loss and disappointment to Miss Frith, who spares no trouble or expense in order to see that her cats get the best of care. Fortunately he is survived by sixteen splendid Seal Point offsprings.

June - Lanfine Wangsy, beautiful blue point Siamese female, owned by Miss Louise Frith, Purachatr Cattery, died recently at the age of four years, from coccidiosis. Wangsy was bred by Mrs. Stroud and Mrs. Chard, at Whippany, N. J. Wangsy's sire was Tai U Yun and her dam the lovely Ch. blue point Mon O'Lo. This lovely cat is a great loss to Miss Frith, but fortunately she leaves quite a number of outstanding descendants, many of which have been sold to leading Siamese breeders. These will doubtless carry on the traditions of the Purachatr family and do some nice winning for their owners in the forthcoming shows.

July - Ch. Djer-Kits Petaling of Wyandotte died June 26, 1936. This lovely seal-point Siamese was owned by Mrs. F. L. Mock, of Columbus, Ohio. She was bred by Mrs. Martin K. Metcalf and purchased as a kitten by Mrs. Mock in 1930. She has been the special pet of the household all these years and is sadly missed by Mrs. Mock and all the members of the family who loved her dearly.
